Shine upon us in our dark night
With your pure light
Things now hidden unto our sight
Make clear and bright
Reveal your ways, help us to learn
Ever trust to you, confide, turn
Your presence there still to us guide
With us reside
If our night seems dark, unyielding
Your daylight bring
Help us still in faith to hold to
Your ways e'er true
Learning, growing, contemplating
Living, working, meditating
Through all scenes of life that we know
On earth below
Fill us with your Spirit, may we
More of you see
Your plan, change us to image sure
Of Christ e'ermore
Lord have mercy, still us uphold
That good things still of you be told
You our guide through life for ever
Leave us never

Thanks N. Do you pick up on the 'contemplating' and 'meditating' aspects?
I meditate twice each day.. mane & nocte.. maybe for just a couple of minutes but often for half an hour or more.... even on holiday....
I should (or could) do more really...…
it is good for ya.....
So I said of my singing - if I say so myself. No one believes me though. lol. A spot, a little - or more? of meditation?
The light is always with us.
