Is it love that runs deep through my veins,
pumping blood to my metaphoric heart?
Each beat resuscitates, regenerates and revitalises
the darkest crevices of my soul.
It is a medicine, sweet and tender;
absorbed by true loves kiss
and travels through my bloodstream lightning fast,
as though my body craves it.
The warmth it brings spreads right through
the tips of my fingers and toes;
and as she holds her hands in mine,
I know I warm her too.
A pulsing glow emits around her
awakening my synapses.
As she kisses me again
a ball of air rises towards my chest,
she has breathed life into me!
I think this is what love feels like.
I’ll never knew who I was before her.
Please don’t break my heart again.

Yes, yes and yes again with every word right till the end. I felt my heart drop with your pen, then felt it start right up again. Through all the heat breaks I've had in my life, now to this day to be thankful in alive!
