Morning Dew.

kevin browne

As morning dew drips from a summer Sun
In the seed, life will spring into another one.
Spreading dandelions and buttercups love
Is where the stinging nettles sting too much.

And, tree branches break with wintry echoes
Hedgerows blossom in the fields that glow.
Whispering Robins sit pretty upon its wings
Chirping young crave for what mother brings.

Cocks crow as morning dew wets the ground
Rainbows reign ends when the gold is found.'
Petals pronounce themselves in as they grow
Daisies are holding each others' hands they know.

For grass lay upon the cows and sheep's foot
Foxes roam at night for another life he took
Sentimental reasoning for the buzzing bees
As the Jackdaws eyes search in hidden trees.

Seagulls squawk hovering in the skies above
The sea is emptied when giving away its love
Waves roll in up against the rocks that crash
Leaving danger up against the cliff it smashed.

Rivers flowing with the sparkles of life to give
Beavers rustle up branches for a home to live.
Minx scuttle across the river of rainbow trout
Where the speed killed fish without any doubt.

Then the fields of gold glisten on Barley Wheat
Where the magical diversity of life always meet
A sanctuary for all life begins to pull up beside
When a rabbit runs for its love, it loses its life.

The Sun at dawn watching leaves on the lawn
And, up sprouts another one, another one born
Seeds of grass spread in the heart of the living
Diversity in a morning dew teaches in giving.

And, as the Moon is shadowed by the Earth
This life, this planet, this world and it's worth
And, to wonder at its fantastic midnight show
Where the stars sleep up against the plough.

So, we'll put out the stars, switch off the Sun
We'll jump over planets, have fun everyone.
We'll pull down the sky and wake in the dark
As another day passes it blossoms in a park.

What a nice read this was Kevin. The message is clear and I do enjoy it. Best regards!

Thank you, Nicholas. Although 'poetry' is just a short word, yet it's nearly as big as life itself. Repetition within the poetic world of writing a poem filled with life and all its adventures is such a beautiful thing that it just makes the mind boggle and to step back to see the massive amounts of poems stacked up to the Moon and back all about life and everything in it. Just stunning!!

'The little dog laughed to see such fun, and the cow jumped over the moon'.....

i rekkon a certain powerful american rekkons he can switch off the sun and jump over planets already..... with his pollution policy skies will get darker anyway.

I think the sap is rising in your veins Kevin ... it's springtime begorrah.

Trump's policies of world control are pretty amazingly dumb, but who knows what's around the corner. Make sure you have enough nuclear armament in your basement just in case he pops in for a cuppa!! The sap is rising in my veins. I like that. Thanks again!!
