Oh Little Humming Bird

Angela1711

Oh little humming bird

What stories can you tell?

As you perch above great heights do you sing of hell?

For I'm sure you've seen such evil things

Amongst this unappreciative race

I'm sorry that we did not embrace all of natures great traits.

Oh little humming bird

I wish we could erase this barren awful place

And bring you back to better lands

Where nature was once great

Oh little humming bird

I'm sorry for your pain

The consequences of our lives you must bare in vain

But do not give up little humming bird

For there is light within the dark

Oh little humming bird

You will surely make your mark.

The bird will fly and fly freely unto the sky: at least I hope so, anyway.

The humming bird can see the light, let us hope that homo sapiens starts to see it as well.
