Good artists copy; great artist steal

Poetic Dan

Baby sit on back and relax
Swing those little feet round in your sack
Ready to go nowhere fast

Who knows where life is ment to lead
I've got nothing but time
I'll wait to show you the world
It'll be just fine

I didn't mean to be so hesitant
It hurt the first couple of times
Now you've gone picking us
Our little dragonfly

For what will be
Is gonna be
We're just here to please

Ready to, smile with you
Laugh with you
Play it all day long

Waiting to, dance with you
Singing with you
Hugging all night long

Right now you're the size of a mouse
You're just learning about a frown
Soon ready to take in sound

I'll start reading this one aloud
Hoping you'll spin real fast
Working those muscles hard
Ready for the breath of life

As what will be
Is gonna be
Nothing can go wrong

Knowing we
Will always be
In each other hearts

Endlessly
In a sea
Floating
On
&
On

Clever. I see what you did there. It's not theft you know if you don't actually steal anything!
        Best regards, Dan.

True, but it's all stolen and on repeat just with a little twist or maybe I'm just losing it!
          Appreciate the regards 😉
