I thought I was truthful before
Now I feel it to my core
Ask me anything
No Lie I'll be uttering
There may be a slight pause
As I absorb my own answer
You will do the same after
With love, hate or laughter
This ability in a question
To change me or you
All when responded
Giving our inner truth
As we'll both get better reception
In making a peaceful connection

Wonderful true write, if you always tell the truth you need not have any problems remembering which lies went where.
I nearly used that quote but like your twist.
Always appreciated my friend
A good write Dan. Also, we got to remember to continue the lie if we start it, and pressurise ourselves doing that, to maintain the false statements.
Yet so easy to do it, or is it ๐
Much respect, Dan.
Wonderful message.
Respect returned my good sir! Have a wonderful day
So easy to do or is it?
You are right Dan, we do need to pause to be truthful because we spend so much of our days programmed and we donโt even realise the lie.
Unless we pause.
Apparently the biggest form or lying is omission. It is also the easiest I guess. Saying Nothing. Speaks.
I envy anyone with the courage to live a true honest life.
No need to envy just jump on board and say f* it to all. You ain't no tin woman, you is a lioness with a pride that can not shift. Unless you want it to Anyway!
Oh if I said all the things that popped into my head Dan Iโd be in trouble before you could say โit went something like thisโ
Well not with me or Dr Seuss!
Those that matter won't mind
Those that mind don't matter
They all seem to mind ๐ฌ
even when one is tongue tied.. when one wants to spit it out... often words on a page more than compensate... in fact, that is bollocks... they invariably do...... Neville ๐
You can't hold back the truth!
no of course not..
Wonderfully done Poetic Dan the truth will always stand. A lie slides out your mouth and skips through your hands.
That one I'll keep, with my grains of sand
Heating it all up with ever stride or stance
Till I become lucidly echoing my past
Thanks for the inspiration, hope I am listening ๐
