I often get the sweats
Before picking up the kids
As if it's the first time
Meeting their little eyes
They come running with a hug
I still can't believe my luck
Never needing a mirror again
In their reflection finding my name
A gift I'm reminded everytime
We squeeze hello or goodbye

Good stuff.... so many of us overlook these wonderful simple pleasures and its good to see YOU enjoying them.
Your chosen title picture contains a wisdom so many should learn from. All to often we read on MPS of the sadness after the goodbye as if the love and joy before it had never existed at all.... folk are strange.
Very true on your last statement my friend but I don't think I truly knew it before I came here and stated writing more.
I could never tell you enough how much you and everyone had help with the interactions we have but I feel another post coming up for it š
