Everyone Has A Gift

Everyone Has A Gift

I didn’t know I had a gift

Until I reached an older age

After life I had wrestled with

And my hair had all turned grey

I didn’t know I had talent

Until I finally opened my eyes

And recognized what my gift was

And gave my gift a try

I had been unchallenged in life

And worked small jobs for years

Until my gifts I finally tried

And they turned into a career

Slowly I came to know

That everyone does something well

With a gift that is bestowed

Whether painting or setting sail

Of the ones just like me

Many come to realize

That the things we achieve

Are from gifts that we apply

Those gifts within all of us sometimes take time to find but they are within us all. Good write.

Everyone has something gifted to them, but that's not enough. We must always work to get the most from them.

Thanks, orchidee. We should make the most of our gifts.
