That it does, beautifully done! Love never stops, even if we think it's done.
A lovely write Fay. A pity I used to ruin my mum's Mothers Day every year, by singing to her! lol. I wondered why dad bought her ear-plugs every Christmas. Hmmm?
Your first verse made me guffaw. So apt..... so much conveyed in four short lines......
I believe the first verse is a stand alone masterpiece.
The whole is a fine write as per your norm .... but yes that first verse.... is so terse.
Goes into my favs.
What a splendid little poem this is.. one that will undoubtedly be more relevant to some, than to others, but.. will nevertheless appeal to everyone that finds it here.... Neville
