Just when you think you couldn't love and adore her any more
She goes and grows a child tightly to her core
Laying in bed hearing her creep for a pee late
Knowing that what's inside her is our mixed up dna
The short little naps to rest her aching back
The mind thats started losing track of this and that
That beautiful little glow that's loving lifes flow
I've never felt so grateful for not being shown the door
I should tell her this more often, how special she really is.
For seeing past my tissue, when I can't see myself
When Sprinklings turns to waterfalls, mood swings out of this world
Silly me of course she knows how amazing she is, anyone else would put me back on shelf.

- Comment from author about the poem: I'm lucky to of been in love a few times now, each one helped unclip my wings until I found it in myself. In my opinion the better the man is because he has listened to the grace of a woman. With the more forgiving a lady's heart is when no male overstepped the boundaries And the more trusting a males hand, if love is not abandoned. Never give up, keep walking this land. All things come back, you just have to ask!

This song was just chosen after reading goldfinch post today!
Did make me giggle....
Ah, yes!
I thought it was just a coincidence and that you just liked the name Sue!š
Personally, I like Dionās songs! I lived in his neighborhood at a young age! When my aunt visits the church he and his family attended, it makes me think of him...and of course, thereās always the Italian connection!š
A lovely and loving Mothers Day tribute to the special lady in your life dear Dan - - have s great Sunday with hugs - - xx from Fay
Thank you kindly, have a wonderful sunny Sunday too.
Much love and respect xx
There's love in them there words mister. And lots of it.
Difficult times of disturbed nights, bleary eyed mornings, screaming/wailing baby and extra chores can cloud the love between two people.
But those quiet together times are still there to share the glow of a successful loving pairing.
You lucky people.
Wow just when I think You can't get any better, you have such a way with words. I swear if I wasn't so madly in love, I'd be writing you a verse.... Ha ha sorry couldn't help it!
