Way To Walk

Tune: Gwalchmai

('King of glory, King of peace')

Psalm 119 v.33-40

********

Teach me, O LORD, in your way

Throughout each day

Teach me your statutes, I shall

Then sure fare well

Shall keep your commands to end

Of days you send

Give me understanding too

And me renew

So shall I your law e'er keep

I be your sheep

I shall it observe wholly

With my heart free

Make me to go in your way

This I do pray

For therein I do delight

Fixed there my sight

Incline my heart, that it sees

Testimonies

That you give, but not in this

Covetousness

Turn away my eyes that they

See no strange way

Nor vanity, me quicken

In your ways then

Establish your word unto

Your servant, do

'Tis me, for devoted I

Unto you cry

Devoted unto your fear

Reverence here

Turn my reproach, good you are

Holy by far

always face oncoming traffic.. likewise any problems that crop up along the way.. keep to the kerb but keep moving at a reasonable pace otherwise you might be considered a kerb crawler and Fido would go berserk..... above all else.. keep both walking and believing.... Neville

Thanks Neville. I seen people wit their backs to the traffic - arggh! Also, yes, face traffic, and beware of sharp right turns, which can be as blind corners. If there's a pavement, use it of course. lol. Fido told me too, to face oncoming traffic. You walking? You gone shopping?!

A beautifully composed confession of faith dear Orchi - thank you for sharing.

Thanks Fay. I did do a 'said' discourse on all 176 verses of Psalm 119. Phew! I put it on a separate file, runs for 11 pages.Thankfully not set to a tune, or else I would sing it all - hours of torture for listeners. lol. Rather break it down into 22 x 8 sections. Maths lesson over for today.
