A Family Still
It was a Saturday again
And I was spending time at home
Without my children then
And my wife also gone
It was not exciting
When I laundered all the clothes
But I hoped my wife would see
That I loved her so
I spent time in the bedrooms
Changing the sheets on our beds
For my family to come home to
With a fluffed pillow for their heads
My family came home again
And everybody cried
And we loved each other then
And felt much better inside
That Sunday morning I cooked
And the pancakes were a hit
And our blessed family looked
Happy quite a bit

May the joy of you family be always with you.
What a joy it is to be surrounded by loved ones.
A lovely write w c.
Thank you, orchidee. Glad you enjoyed it.
It's like watching a family drama, but it's a poem instead.
Where would we be without our families? Some say we'd be quite lost until a friend arrives.
