What I don’t know

sylviasearcher

Maybe I don’t know much about hope
But I know a bit about disappointment
Maybe I don’t know much about believing
But I know a bit about deceiving
Maybe you think you know what I know?
Maybe you know a little I don’t?

Maybe right now I know nothing about purpose
But a little about pointlessness
Maybe tomorrow I will know everything about time
But nothing about the eternal or divine
Maybe someone somewhere knows something?
Maybe they will try so very hard to teach me the beautiful futility of everything?

Do you really think I know nothing about the light?
In my twisted darkness and inside fight
With my bruises and scars and unrecognisable face?
Do you know a little about empathy? Can you stand in my place?
Maybe I don’t know anything about your happy game
But I know a lot about shame

We all have bad days.. dont be away too long...

  • Poetic Dan

They say home is where you're missed and this you'll truly be it!
But what an outstanding write to take a break
I wish I had more words to say everything will be okay

But I'd offer a tea with biscuits and shoulder
If you was ever my way!

    Thank you
    For everything you gave
    Perfectly as your are!

Very powerful write Sylvia. May you find true peace in your heart and mind as you take your breathe, but be back soon.
