A Song Is Special

 

I will compose the music

And you will write the words

And all will dance to it

Whenever the song is heard

 

The song that comes to life

Will help brighten up our days

As a gift from up high

That God helped to create

 

The message of the song

Will be a good one to hear

And it will help some be strong

When in the midst of fear

 

Many times the song

Will uplift for a while

And we will know it belongs

With things that make us smile

 

The song that we create

Will excite all that hear

And to hear it will be a break

From things that have no cheer

          Ohhh (Sings): 'A song is so, so special.... Except if I'm singing it... Cos cats think I'm picking a fight with them...… Meowwooo!' Heehee. Set to no tune at all probably!

            Thanks so much, orchidee. I'm a music man but can't carry a tune in a bucket! I guess i do ok as long as no one else is around to hear me! I learned to play the trombone in high school, but i gave that up long ago. I still play a mean air guitar!

              Are some people mad?! lol. A couple of people said to me, individually at different times 'Your singing's good!' But it's my joke - I pretend I'm a terrible singer. lol.
