Save Some Room

Honey Silk

I'll save a space just for you in my heart.

It isn't the fanciest room, but it's warm.

It can't predict the rain that trickles down your cheeks when your eyes are cloudy, but it will put a roof over you to keep you dry.

It can't memorize sonnets word for word, but it'll remember what you're allergic to and your favorite color.

It may not be big enough to scrape the clear blue skies above you, but its more than enough to accommodate your stay.

It may be a little broken here and there, but it stays strong through the cruelest of seasons.

I've saved some room for you. Some room in my heart for you to keep.

I've saved some room for you.
