Tune & Hymn: Amazing Grace
Luke Chapter 15 parts
********
A lost sheep found, praises redound
Was heard the bleating sound
Shepherd the sheep on shoulder laid
Brought home and undelayed
More joy in heaven over one
Returned, repentance done
More joy than over ninety nine
Who have repented fine
A lost coin* found, room was swept (*drachma)
A tidy household kept
Then found the missing piece again
And was rejoicing then
So joy in presence of angels
When good news it retells
Of one sinner who repents sure
Now found, saved, evermore
A lost person home returning
Had squandered everything
Implored his father's mercy to
Be welcomed home anew
Father received his prodigal
Son, and rejoicing all
Was made, for he was lost, now found
Celebrations abound
And too was dead but now alive
Repentant, he would thrive
Tale of sheep, coins, people, they
Tell of God's grace today

Re pent ants, re Joy sings
Grey Twerk Or Key.
Ta Michael. You found that sheep? How many you got on your farm?! Ask Ram Berles to go for a walk - he should find any lost sheep. You know Joy Sings too?
Mary had a little ram - now you've started something - watch out for a posting near you.
I also know Joyce Ings - have you met her?
I think I met her. A relation of Mr Berle-Ington. She kept the 'Ing' part of her surname when she married. And you got any drachmas - valuable coins?
I've got a groat - does that count?
Orchi,
A fine write for this wonderful morning!
‘Celebrations abound’...that’s for sure... when a lost one returns home!
Enjoy your day!

I repent.. I surely cant be the only one who feels like this about choruses..
You repenting? Turning around, turning your back on..... choruses?! lol. I am, if they're gonna be sung about 500 times in a row!
Oh' sh**...sugar....
What a celebratory feel to this lovely write today Orchi.
Thanks Fay.
