motley meadow

Crystal Hope

powdered petals
parlayed under the sunkist brook.
warm whispers
of windy trees withered as they shook.

scarlet shadows
shimmered over the colorless clouds.
mauve mountains
marveled the meadow crowds.

florid finches
flapped and wired their wildest wings.
rose ripples
radiates the river with a sun sparkling.
