at closure

Frank Prem

when the wind
twirls the sky

when the sun says
goodnight

all ships set anchor
at the fading of light

the day
is reflected
the palette
applied

in these moments
of closure
the waters
are wide

  • Fay Slimm.

Such a peaceful read Frank - delightfully penned this change at the coming of night. First class write.

Hi Fay. It's a sweet scene, isn't it?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.

Loved your imagery in this . "wind twirls the sky," "the waters are wide," in particular. A great ending of the day. A poem to take us through the last moments of daylight. It reminded me of times at sea, surrounded only by horizon, and a brilliant Sunset, magnificent. Loved your poem. Think I'll Fav it. - Phil A.

        • Frank Prem

Thank you, Phil. I'm delighted to be able to share a pleasant moment from this part of the world.

          Glad you enjoyed it.

That palette can show the highlight of the day.

Very pretty at the end of the day, GF. Autumn over here.
