- Comment from author about the poem: A haiku --- 'Tis dark side of TRUTH. If birth is a curse of previous actions, what should we therefore be truly celebrating, Birth or Death!!!!! Once we accept this, we can truly live, free of all qualms, and ensure end of rebirths.

Yes, we are only guaranteed two things in this earthly existence - birth and death.
IT IS TRUE THAT WE DONT EXPERIENCE THE MOMENT OF OUR OWN BIRTH OR DEATH.
WEHTHER, EXISTENT OR NON-EXISTENT, THE SPAN BETWEEN THE TWO IS WHAT DEFINES US.
Once born death is the only certainty that we have.
