Tune: Sandys
('Teach me, my God and King')
********
'Halal', to be clear, shine
And worship the divine
To boast, to show, to rave it be
And too celebrate, see
To clamour foolishly
But still respectful be
To worship, praise our Lord and King
To Him let each voice sing
Psalm 113 v.1-3
Praise you the LORD, Him praise
You servants a song raise
Praise His name, it be blessed for e'er
That honour you may share
From this time and henceforth
From east, west, south, and north
The LORD's name blessed for evermore
Upon each earthly shore
From rising of the sun
To going down, bar none
From every place His name be praised
To Him thanksgivings raised
Psalm 150 v.1
Praise you the LORD, God He
Is, and none else can be
Praise Him now in His sanctuary
Expressions bold and free
Praise Him, he dwells on high
His power shows in the sky
His mighty firmament it is
'Tis His creation this
Psalm 149 v.3
Let them praise in the dance
It shall His name enhance
Sing praise to Him, employ timbrel
And harp, instruments all
