You are part of me

Poetic Dan

Very person that has read, liked or commented on my poetry

Has become apart of my inner anatomy
Freeing me from self-destructive agony

This desire to live an open library
Anyone can take a look inside me

Nothing hidden or running away
Mistakes and fears all come to play

Written out of a love for rhyme
Seeing all things begin to shine

The time you've give me, I can not give back
Thank you can only ever be, half of the track

The other half I'll have to project out, with laughter, smiles and maybe the odd shout

For no one should ever have a hand over their mouth

This is how we live, learn and keep figuring it out

Living and learning we need no secrets - a verse of good thoughts and thank you for the fine quote too Dan - wishing you smiles of peace today.

Yes thank you, I may need it today as I take on settings my boundaries with two French bulldogs I'm boarding for a week!

Great quote and wonderful words Dan, we all have things to GIVE each other, may that giving continue forever.

Yes, we never stop learning nor re-learning do we. Giving and receiving the joy of this life plays a huge part.

          • Poetic Dan

That it does and I'm finding my joy can be easily lost but easily found, once I take my time and write it all down. As I am not in the same place I was when I wrote this!
            Thanks for the nudge
            Always appreciated
