You know that you were not redeemed
Corruptible things deemed
As useless to save, silver, gold
They no salvation hold
Nor things of traditions of old
Bring you not to the fold
But you redeemed with precious blood
Of Christ, a cleansing flood
He like a lamb without blemish
Perfect work did finish
He no spot, fault, or defect, He
Complete sacrifice be
He offered Himself, foreordained
Before earth its life gained
He there before it foundation
He Lord of each nation
Now in these times He is revealed
For you, to you appealed
By Christ you do on God believe
And salvation receive
You believe God raised Him from dead
He now your living Head
God gave Him glory, so now see
Your faith, hope, in God be
