Unfurl

SerenWise

Unfurl me

Gently -

Like the newborn wings

Of the silken moth;

Worship and cherish

My supple flesh,

With your soft fingertips

And secretive lips.

Unfurl me,

Roughly -

Like a fluttering flag

Upon your pole;

Mishandle and gnaw

My delicate neck,

My pulse racing beneath

Your lupine teeth.

Unfurl me,

Beautifully -

Like a billowing sail

Of a galleon ship;

Pitching and lurching

Of bodies divine,

The cresting waves

Of a love sublime.
