And Coastal Erosion ! He wants to see
The data on Glacial Movement & Melting
MONDAY (29th) is forecast to be .......
Wet with thunder at Franz Joseph Glacier
So we have stayed an extra day (SUNDAY)
In QUEENSTOWN to relax and go to CHURCH !
We will look at Mount Cook : NOT climb it ! On
MONDAY (1st May) we will then move on to FRANZ JOSEPH
For TUESDAY (2nd May) when it is forecast .......
To be DRY & SUNNY : Ideal weather
To visit a Glacier and look at records !
WE have really enjoyed our SUNDAY in
QUEENSTOWN and an excellent Sunday Lunch
Of ROAST NZ LAMB of course ! The CHURCH Service
Was excellent and it really prepared
US to enjoy Natures handiwork in NZ !
Its now 8pm Sunday Evening : and
We are in the Caravan Park : MOUNT COOK.
We will be able to get to CHRISTCHURCH
On WEDNESDAY afternoon for AUCKLAND flight.
Travelling by Camper Van is always .......
More flexible than HOTELS & HOSTELS !

A stormy day here yesterday (Saturday). A lovely 4 or 5 days over Easter though.

Good Morning UNCLE STEVE ~ 8pm Sunday Evening Here ~ just has supper (Soup & Horlics) and settling down for the night and Mt Cook tomorrow "Baby its cold outside !" I saw on the NEWS that we had missed the Mini Heatwave in the UK over Easter. It promises to be 17C at tthe Glacier ! Pleased you enjoyed "Climb Every Mountain" we thought it was apprpopriate ~ more tomorrow ~ AMEN

Thanks SURESH ~ Sure when I (BRIAN) get back to the UK ~ I wil give talks to SENIORS CLUBS on New Zealand lots of Brits have never been ! Package tours are £3000 and its not much cheaper if you organise your own ! Memories are made of this ~ we are enjoying every minute. Money spent on TRAVEL ~ is in our opinion ~ always money well spent !

THANKS UNCLE ANDY ~ The visions in Mt Cook National park are etched in our MEMORIES for EVER. Its now 8:30pm (MONDAY) and we have motored on to FRANZ JOSEF GLACIER ready to explore tomorrow which promises to be warmer 15C = 60F. Thanks for your encouragement we have to get back to CHRISTCHURCH to catch the plane for AUCKLAND on Wednesday (1st May) afternoon !
