Jon Nakapalau

how could you have known that

the seagull you shot went by the name
of jonathan livingston and he was on his

way back to his flock with the same ideas
that you were trying so hard to render in your

play but that is the true absurdity of life to kill what
you love most even as the world demands sacrifice

just for the sake of symbolic acceptance for a summer.

Clever write Jon, that symbolism can be so meaningless at times.
