Return to Christchurch ~ a nostalgic END !
The Camper Van was returned (SAD) and then ...
Have caught the Plane to return to AUCKLAND
Up in North Island ~ which ANGELA now ...
Regards as HOME ! It is now 8pm (WED)
Soon I*ll have to leave for LONDON ~ BOO HOO !
Personally we*ve both really enjoyed ...
All our adventures on South Island ~ It
Sure brought us closer together ~ in the
SNUGNESS of the CAMPER VAN ~ It was PERFECT !

Well STEVE as you well know all good experiences in life are TRANSIENT ! Its now 7pm Wednesday here and on Saturday I will fly back to ENGLAND and wont see ANGELA again intill I come back to get her in OCTOBER ! Cest la Vie. Thanks for your comment

No doubt you have made so many happy memories that you will have lots of exchange when the plane takes you back Brian - - that Pass must have been a highlight in your trip through South Island.... hugs and safe journey home.
YES INDEED FAY ~ We arrived late on Tuesday Night and then woke early the following morning to see the Sunrise and enjoy the view ~ AWESOME. After BREAKFAST (in the Van !) we carried on to CHRISTCHURCH to hand the van over |(immaculate) and catch the Plane to Auckland. It is now 9:30am (Thursday) and we have planned (Thursday) a full day sight seeing & sailing in the harbour ~ It is a second Home for ANGELA she has lived here for over 10 months ! The Auckland weather yesterday (WEDNESDAY) was very Sunny and 17C (63F) ideal for SAILING in Autumn ! We have so many Memories but SATURDAY is looming when we must part again ! ANGELA has made many Friends and we keep meeting People she knows. We have caught up with RUTH & DAVID and they will come sailing with us. DAVID is travelling back to London with me. They stayed mainly in the NORTH ISLAND but did go to NELSON & PICTON in the South on the FERRY across the COOK STRAIGHT !

Thanks SURESH ~ Yes we really enjoyed our trip to South Island especially having been separated by 11,500 miles for eight months ! We had a lot of catching up to do. being in a Camper Van rather than a Car gave us a lot of flexibility in respect of Weather and Route etc. Its now 10am Thursday and we arrived back in Auckland on Wednesday 5pm by Air from CHRISTCHURCH ! Alls well that ends well !

THANKS ANDY ~ September is special to me for the same reason ~ I am a typical VIRGO ! Attention to detail and preciseness good traits for a SCIENTIST ! I can understand why ANGELA wants me to be with Her when she has too leave AUCKLAND she is very immersed in the KIWI & MAORI and Culture ~ it will be a big wrench. I love NZ as well. We are both thrilled She has had the opportunity and she is now a Qualified Tutor in the Hands-on aspects of Physiotherapy which is a bonus ~ she is very focussed on her profession ! I have female Twin Cousins (32) born in October ~ they are beautiful Ladies with Amazing Husbands & two children each ! Other OCTOBER born people I know are also (like You) very genial ! Roll on OKTOBER FEST ~ Amen !
