Rainy Hangout

Nafis Light

Derailed by the rain again...
With my hood...
Face hidden...
Facing the neighbourhood.

Just waiting for the storm to be over...
Just waiting...
Boredom...
Till it stops raining.

Hey, wanna hang out here with me?
I'm sure there's a space right here;
You won't fall...
'Cause I'll keep you in the clear.

It ain't so bad to be under the rain...
I don't mind;
You might see something that'll make you smile...
...but it's something you gotta find.

Oh, and thanks for reading this
or...being here with me;
I know it's probably an imaginary place
but it is one of the many places to be.

With Smiles,

    "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain"

    • Nafis Light

      I saw that quote a lot...but this piece isn't about life.

      Just about a rainy day and chilling, and...wanna hang out?
      or maybe a 'part two' to this one? (it's a possibility)

      However it is, if something doesn't trigger that inspiration for me to write...then it wouldn't happen.
