She is a PHYSIOTHERAPIST ~ I am a BIOCHEMIST.
For our studies we need 3D Molecular Biomodels
Important to understand how Biochemistry functions !
Reproduction plastic anatomical models are also important.
Eye ~ Ear ~ Heart ~ Lungs ~ Liver ~ Kidneys ~ Brain ~ Limbs etc !
MOLECULAR BIOLOGY : requires models of Proteins ~ DNA etc.
Chemistry teaching @ advanced level ~ impossible without models.
Helical structures of Proteins & DNA etc were ........
Unravelled using 3D Molecular Models & X-ray crystallography. This
Generated an interest for Angela & I in all aspects of 3D Art.
Here illustrated in the Video by Ceramics ~ Glass ~ Wood & Metal !

the OU on the Walton Hall Campus. £230,000 has been raised
by over 5000 OU Graduates for OU Scholarships. Each of the
Subscribers will receive a personalised metal plaque to hang on

Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ Pleased you enjoyed the PRESENTATION. Angela & I have been playing around with 3 D MODELS (plastic ones !) since we started High School @ 11 ! They are essential for us to understand and teach our work. hence our interest in 3D rather than 2D Art. H2O is an excellent start it is essential for LIFE and the most important COMPOUND on Planet Earth. God was very lavish with WATER on EARTH ~ For todays population (7.5 billion) he provided a LAKE WINDERMERE each ! We can never run out of water because it is recycled and purified by the natural Water Cycle. Gravity prevents it escaping into OUTER SPACE !

I an a promoter of the OU and once ran a Tutorial Centre at a College where I worked. The *Tree of Knowledge* is a great showcase for CLARE ~ I cant wait to see it when next I visit the Walton Hall Campus in November. Angela & I love all Art & Art Exhibitions. The ones @ Snape Maltings are good ~ always a few *ME* style Driftwood Sculptures ~ Birds etc ! I interpreted "d as 2D ~ OK !

What a wonderful idea is a 3 D tree of learning - - I love any learning that comes when models can be handled.
THANKS FAY ~ As you know the OU (UK) is an awesome Institution with over 2 million Graduates since it commenced in 1969 ! The *Tree of Learning* is part of the ce;ebrations for its 50th year ! I have run the OU Centre in a College and also a Personal Tutor. Thanks for your comment !
