No-one cares

Lulu Boatwright

I wandered lonely as a girl

Without advice or information

I wandered lonely as a girl

No role model or inspiration

I wandered lonely as a girl

No one to care or hold me close

I wandered lonely as a girl

With ladders in my panty hose

I wandered lonely as a girl

“Rebellious” and “formidable”

I wandered lonely as a girl

Unconsciously so biddable

I wandered lonely as a girl

Identified by watchful losers

I wandered lonely as a girl

Arms open wide to my abusers

Good Morning LULU ~ Welcome to MPS ! Thanks for your first Poem beautifully structured ~ excellent Rhythm & consistent Rhyme pattern, Repetition is very important in Classical Poetry and your repetition of *I wandered lonely as a Girl* empathises your message and the Title *No-one cares* The neglect you empathise is the situation of many Urban Teen Girls todays Society ! No advice ~ No-one to care or cuddle ~ Unkempt ~ Rebellious ~ Formidable ~ Biddable ~ Watched & Abused. I (BRIAN) work in a Vocational College with TEENS and ANGELA & I work as Youth Leaders in a Church. Your poem rings very true for many vulnerable Teen Girls we encounter.

Thinking of YOU ~ Every blessing for the Future
