NEVER take your HANDS for granted
Just think of all the things they do
Knock in a nail ~ tie up a shoe
And paint a Summer sky ~ bright blue !
Your HANDS can gently stroke a cat
Tie a ribbon on your Sunday hat
HANDS can throw ~ and they can catch
HANDS can give ~ but also snatch
HANDS can also fight & scratch !
Hands can caress and HANDS can LOVE
And HANDS can wear a velvet glove
HANDS are precious ~ please take care
When using knives ~ thin gloves I wear
ONE HAND*S no use so wear a pair !
TWO HANDS to play piano in the hall
TWO HANDS to bat ~ TWO HANDS to catch a ball
BUT ~ some have one HAND and some no HANDS at all
PAINT with no HANDS and iron with their FEET !
ALWAYS buy their PAINTINGS ~ cool & neat !

What a wonderful and sometimes overlooked gift are human hands - as your fine rhyme portrays they are truly dexterous and adeptly shaped for manifold tasks.... another reason to truly admire those without one or both who turn to painting etc etc........ they are the heroes who deserve our praise.
THNAKS FAY : Pleased you enjoyed our Presentation. Lots of people dont care for their hands. As a PHYSIO I get a lot of clients with injured hands and with surgery & exercise we restore optimum dexterity. Musicians expecially are hampered if they injure their HANDS in a Fire or an Accident also Children.The HUMAN HAND : with its opposable tthumb and sensitivity is one of GOD*S greatest gifts to MANKIND. As a Christian Physio I have asked God to give me healing hands : AMEN

Yes indeed UNCLE STEVE : The oldies are the best ! That was 30 years before I was born ! We do need hands for nearly everthing we do : and even in FOOTBALL the goalkeeper has to have a *Safe pair of HANDS* Thanks for your comment

Opposing thumbs is what differentiated human from almost all other species. It's what allowed us to innovate and physically change our environment.
With our developed brains, we can now even overcome the rare instance of being without limbs.

THANKS SURESH ~ WE are Wonderfully & Fearfully made. Human Beings (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) are a CLASS APART. We can adapt to live anywhere on EARTH ~ We could (for a few 100) even colonise the MOON & MARS ~ Tho* neither is suitable for Mass Migration. We can replicate Human Limbs electronically and even the vital Human Organs ~ Heart ~ Lungs ~ Liver Kidneys ! WE can extend (qualitatively) our lifespan to say 125 (max ?) but QUALITY of LIFE is difficult to maintain ! I thank GOD I am HUMAN but I would not wish to live for ever on Earth !
Everlasting Life in PARADISE is a different CONSIDERATION !
