A wardrobe crisis
All the clothing is missing
The mattress is bare.

    Oh my what a clanger
    The missing coat hanger
    and the dressing gown
    over a chair

so deft was the gal with that scraper
    she's ebay-ing her previous wallpaper
    a skill not-to-be sniffed at
it comes with a gift pack
    a weekend atop a skyscraper

    whats going on?

    • Michael Edwards

      Luv em da.

There was a young lass in anger
who ripped her dress off of the hanger
      the hanger got stuck
      right up her butt
and now she resembles an anchor.

There were two small boys from the UK
It seems they were having a slow day
        They wrote every bad word
        That they'd ever heard
And then had to hid them from Mother

Oh Lorna you've found out our game
Things will never quite be the same
For we've lost it, we know it
          Our street cred as poets
It's not me, it's him who i blame

          • Lorna

Who him? I\'m just waiting to hear what Orchi has to say. (This is fun)

A fine write and pic M. It's Miss Berles fault. You hired her as a house-keeper and she put everything in the wash at once?!

              • Michael Edwards

Including herself - she's now known as Tum Berles

              • Lorna

              • Fay Slimm.

Wow this one tells me a story - not so obscure to my eye Michael - - and that artwork must be one of your best - Ooooh what a hue of a sky.

                • Michael Edwards

They moved to the seaside - cheers Fay.

Had to stop once I saw your artwork. Wow. Great coloration. Asense of beauty and peace leaps out at you. Terrific.

Senryu - It would have been much worse if it had been the apple tree that was bare. - Phil A

                  • Michael Edwards

It's curtains for the apple tree
                    It's dead in the bed
                    It's no longer clothed
                    Its leaves have all fled.

                    Thanks Phil.
