Again

it happened again,

I let him in,

let myself believe that he loved me 

im a fool 

I dived in eyes closed

held my breathe and leaped 

into his arms and him into my heart

Will it always be this way

me loving ferociously

getting nothing in return

22 years on this earth 

everyone ive ever loved 

has always left.....

maybe one day i'll find him

a man who loves as i love

whole heartily, unconditionally

uncontrollably. undeniably

but until then i will wonder

what makes them leave

why arent i enough

how could i be better

how can i make them stay?
