I woke up today and I felt...

good?

i woke up today and didn’t worry

didnt worry about why you were ignoring me

didn't worry about what I had done

didnt worry about how I could fix it 

because it was over... we are over 

I didn’t think I would feel relived 

but I do?

after spending weeks wondering 

why you didn’t call me pet names anymore,

why you wouldn’t hold my hand,

why did you seem so distant?

but that was your intention

to distance yourself from me 

so that it wouldn’t hurt me as much 

and for that I can’t help but love you 

I will miss the way you held me 

every time we shared a bed 

how you would kiss my hair 

i will miss my favourite kisses 

The 3 on my cheek 

But I won’t miss you 

because this time I’m lucky
