Tune: St Timothy
('O Holy Ghost, thy people bless')
********
O lord, grant us here your good grace
For whate'er we may face
Matters of body, spirit, soul
Lead us through, make us whole
Help us not to pray all away
But seek in things your way
Trust you will work for good and we
Your guiding hand will see
And too to know your Spirit here
Within our heat appears
Life and Person of God He live
In believers, strength gives
Before us the path you have trod
Eternal Son of God
Turn sufferings constructively
To work redemptively
So that in all things we may grow
And more your image know
Christ formed in us, as we progress
With us your graces bless
