Serving Sincerely

Tune: St Fulbert

('Ye choirs of new Jerusalem')

Psalm 100

*******

Make to the LORD a noise joyful

Let each one on Him call

All you lands praise Him fervently

Worship penitently

Serve the LORD with gladness, and come

Before His presence, some

Song, melody, fine offering

Unto Him humbly bring

The LORD He is God, this know you

And further it is true

That He has made us, Creator

Not we [made] ourselves for sure

We be the sheep of His pasture

Within His fold secure

Enter His gates with thanksgiving

And in His courts praise sing

Be thankful to Him, His name bless

And His great deeds confess

For He is good, His mercy e'er

Lasts, and His truth fades ne'er

Well, I got a talking and reading dog, Fido, so the singing sheep may not be too surprising!

  • Goldfinch60

    Mary had a little lamb,
    She called it little Fido
    And everywhere that Mary went
The lamb dived in the lido.

      • dusk arising

Mary led a flock of sheep
she took them to a christening
        and every sunday
        they go to church
        but they aint really listening

Thanks Suresh. Erm, well there's a Bible verse like that, but it's not in that context!
