SUDDENLY
theres a secret
and its yours
a big black
dark bloody secret
eating at you inside
can't tell anyone
cant share it
but u need to
want to
crying out to
want to shout
at everyone
but it will only hurt
the ones you love
its hurting you but
you cant hurt them
mustn't hurt them
wont hurt them
must be strong
screaming inside
to give everything
to fight this
i must fight this
to win
to survive
find the strength
not to give in.

filled with possibilities, this grabs you by the throat and shakes ya hard... I sincerely hope, for the sake of poetry, filled with red herrings too... I am keeping my fingers crossed regardless...... Neville

I totally ampathize with the gravity of this poem. Wrote one called "Trying Times", though on a much broader scale.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't, but by the nature of the secret, I hope you find the strength, but sometimes you dissolve the importance by sharing.
