I Dance Alone

w c

I Dance Alone

I like to dance at home

With no one else around

The music when I’m alone

Picks me up when I am down

When the music plays

I dance like a pro

And I listen the evening through

To country and rock-n-roll

I question what’s the best

Sometimes when I’m alone

Should there be some guests

In my spacious home

A music lover I’ll remain

Dancing and singing songs

But my dance I may change

If others come along

Solo dancing can be such fun and your honest verse tells how it lifts the spirits too - thanks for the reminder w.c. and today I shall do some rock n roll too in my home.

Music soothes the soul. Dance, dance, dance. It is such great medicine.
