Tormenting Mind's vicious demons
Won't allow soothing sounds, or
Outstretched arm to touch its soul
Meanwhile knowing the pain and feeling it
You can't help but reach out, hoping,
Hoping for a sliver of crack in the demons armor.

Will HE relent, if I don't consent
