Corners Around Rainbows.

kevin browne

Blend in your nature, blend in to see
corners around rainbows, life's green.
Whereas rivers flow upwards at dawn
and a love of life was then finally born.

When calendars crying in November
time has passed quickly to remember
that forms of anyone, anything, not war,
but try to recall the beauty that you saw.

And, look at the hedgerows, Robins Nest.
Sometime to wonder why they head West.
When these blue eyes of mine are closed
creatures and dragons, if God only knows.

And, when the seas turned to black and blue
turtles had swum a hundred miles to see you.
Where orangutans step out of King kongs arms
Genie in his bottle rises to show off his charms.

But, you can't write a poem, you can't at all.
Words are a tension breaking in two to fall
and the branches are burned, torched out
with fire bleeding, they cried out for doubt.

Slender and slick are the ladies of today.
Bring along a drum and I'll make it play,
But, sing me a love song and a bit now,
the teachings of lovers give a good show.

Pick up a flower, a daffodil rose or a love pain
in the heart of it take it in and feel ashamed.
Tickled to pieces when it cries, it gave me fits
of laughter and fun if you reach the core of it.

Butterflies and bees, woodland and trees
falling in love again if you allow it to please.
Bright nights sat on a balcony, slugs up
to wake the dew drops if it's for love.

Waterfalls plentiful of lakes and frogs
A lumberjack swipes his axe for logs.
Down by the wear eels slither at dawn
and down by the harbour, boats at morn.

So, let it all in, this beautiful place.
Deep in a breath, show off a grace
to discover love underneath covers
and to end this story all about lovers.
