Family

Mary73223

you were supposed to love me
to support me
I thought that was what family was for
you told me I could tell you anything
that you would always be there for me
you would never judge
but when I showed you who I was
you started looking at me differently
we started talking less
we drifted apart
just because I came out
doesn't mean I'm any different than before
I'm still the girl you raised
I'm still your daughter
why should it matter who I love
