Rain & Coffee

SerenWise

Raindrops are falling
Into my overpriced latte
That I didn't even want to buy;
But I needed some warmth
And comfort.

My feet are as damp
As my plummeting spirits,
I just can't wait to be
Away from this place,
So alien.

Everything that I do
Is for our beloved future,
Through this mire of misery
I strive still onwards
For you.

    Your future will be fine and the light within it will dispel the raindrops.
