I need an aural hit, just a little, as I am so very brittle,
I must refill my sane again, to balance my play and my pain,
So, let my audio jack up begin, let them scream, let them sing,
My lugholes are ready for their food, to deny me would be very rude.
Either it be Dylan, or Yo-Yo Ma, just heal up my septic scar,
Or cure me via role-playing games, made by those ASMR babes,
Perhaps I may just sit in the park, to ignore the man, and attend to lark,
Anyway, addiction would be satisfied, for all my tears would have dried,
Some have drink, some have coke, but some like me need a guitar stroke,
Thus, after my ear candy, you’d hear me say, “What a gorgeous symphony of a day!”

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem is about a joy of mine, and I am sure a joy for many others: sound. Either if you've bought or have composed some music, walking in the park, or somewhere else, it's all around us, and in my opinion, it sometimes is the only thing, that can satisfy a need to relax. Hope you enjoy.
