the heart was heavy

the ink was dry

all the quill needed

was a teardrop

Let me finish it for you: 'Once upon a t......' I don't think this story wants to be written.

Many a piece published on MPS has been lubricated by teardrops. The most heartfelt of subjects bring teardrops.
However, teardrops for something lost often result in tirades of woe on mps often from poets who's public profile reveals that they dont read other poets work nor comment upon it..... they gain a certain quality and become 'a rant'.

Your piece however is quite different and falls into my favourite types of composition for it is carefully composed and concise. 'less is more!' everytime.

Sometimes all we need is a trigger for emotions to flow. Your comment well appreciated.

A smart short one. Nice to read.

May those teardrops be tears of joy.
