Colors and feelings (for the painter and poet Michael Edwards)

marijoy

Never flows, never blows,

the rainbow of color on a painter’s heart.

Never dulls, never dispose, the attained color on a painter’s heart.

Never oppose, never enclose, the color of freedom on a painter’s heart.

Never impose, never arose, the dark colors of a painter’s heart.

Never froze, never dose, the dripping colors of a painter’s heart.

Never throws, never slows, the running colors of a painter’s heart.

Never expose, never knows, the true color of a painter’s heart.

Never suppose, never nose, the real feelings in a poet’s heart.
