Hello
Gentle early morning spring rain ceases,
Wild Bluebells sway discarding droplets,
Dawn chorus? It has yet to sound,
Wildlife remains in invisible slumbers,
There is wonderment in stillness,
Safety in the quietness,
A trusting Hedgehog peeks,
We say hello.

- Comment from author about the poem: My Friends it sometimes is a difficult time for me hence my recent absence. Breakdowns take their toll however positive you remain cos believe me staying positive is the only way forward. Anyway enough of that. In these periods my ability to write suffers but in time the compositions return. This short offering is the latest result of return after abstaining. I'll stop rambling now Take Care all.

Stillness and quiet are so inspiring Moordy.
The beauty of nature in early morn's stillness is indeed wonderment and you write it so well- -so pleased you are back posting again - - and keep penning my friend.
A very loud HELLO from me too...
Well penned
