If I were to leave here tomorrow
My words would still be here today
Tears may fall but they will stop
Like every bubble it has to pop
Endlessly enjoyed each one brought
Until this one journey came up short
A lesson to be more translucent
Not to combust loves illusions
You can lose many things along the way
Just never give up on what you say
Find your ground by going your way
It will lead to paths others don't play

Keep going your way Dan, your life will be wonderful.
That it is and has been but I'm never afraid to show my teeth, while I still have them that is lol
Always appreciated my friend
Or I'll use the dogs 😉
Those dogs in your hands Dan I am sure would remain so placid and wonderful.
Good write Dan. You got those teeth still?!
Half of the original set but I'm sure fulse ones will work fine too!
Always appreciated
This has a great vibe and I really like not only the message, but the way you have constructed the poem itself and pinned it to the page......... Nice one Dan.......... Neville
Ha, it was written in less than 5 minutes but a life time of emotions.
Thank you friend, always appreciated
my pleasure...
Ah - what with your excellent turns of phrase and the exciting video I have to save this to my faves dear Dan - a thrilling read.......... and just love those dogs among poppies.
And with that honour a smile on my face is placed, funny how easily these words came.
Always appreciate seeing your name and a fav
You are well on your way, no reason to look back, for future is full of promise and so much brighter
