When all other means of care are gone
And WOMAN lays her body bare
A Temple is desecrated

Where knowledge is withheld and suppressed
And MIND bares its ignorance
A Temple is desecrated

Where opioids and syringe are the only urges
And BRAIN is left dysfunctional
A Temple is desecrated

When human actions leave all creatures vulnerable
And EARTH cannot heal itself
A Temple is desecrated

When creation itself is misunderstood
And CREATOR cannot be found
A Temple is desecrated

      Desecration abounds, when man creates a religion to gain power to take from the land....
      ..... does the real creator need a temple......
      .... is not that temple a desecration in itself.......

        Here though, temple is a metaphor for that which is in BOLD.

            I have no desire, anymore, to go to temples, for I find no solace there, and so I meditate. Maybe, just maybe, one day.....

              Thanks SERESH ~ for sharing an important TRUTH about the 21st C ! Nothing is sacred anymore and as well as the things you mention SACRED SITES ~ such a Churches & Mosques & Temples are increasingly violated WORLDWIDE ! Your reference to the human Bosy is interesting ! The BIBLE (The Word of GOD for Christians) states *Are you not aware that YOUR BODY is the TEMPLE of the HOLY GHOST* The inference being that if we abuse our Bodies & Minds with Drugs ~ excess Alcohol ~ Pornography ~ Extramaritial Sex etc etc we are offending the HOLY GHOST who indwells Christians ! We can all desicrate our Bodies ~ our Minds ~ our Brains ~ Planet earth and ultimately the Creator HIMSELF !
