Feelings.  Ain’t they a funny thing?

Wondering, feeling, thinking, sinking.

 

 

Why?  Oh why?  Oh, I see you are wrong.

Oh yes that’s right, like the words of a song,

Of hope and joy; what a wonderful world.

Reality sucks when a boy meets a girl.

 

 

Who will be first to give up on love?

Who will be first to unlearn how to trust?

God only knows!  Good heavens above!

Humans know Earth; we know it’s no good.

 

 

Death and despair, we have it by the truckload.

Come get it for free; everything must go!

We’ve already sold love, trust, deception and honesty;

Everything is just a word.

There is no such thing, as a true honest feeling.
