Daydreaming

MrNobody40

If only I could disappear

Hide among the shallows

In my ever-changing mind

Would I ever come back

I watch myself

Day by day living life

And time slowly changes

People fall away and regrow

Wildflowers on my front lawn

And while the Sun is setting

The colors in my mind

Are changing

Fading, flying

The wind through my mountains

If only I could disappear

Maybe just for today

We all change as we progress through our lives, it is called experience and without experience we would not progress into a better life.
