Twilight of life

fearlessstars

In the twilight of life one find in wrinkled smiles,

walking at the shore with the tranquil riches of the sky in miles

Memories in enchanted experience of the mind delight,

and the aesthetic beauty of delicate might

Gentle waves in the sea of thoughts merging with the sky of eternity,

attracted by the crescent light of change offering me a sense of maternity

Feelings of wondrous ecstasy without fears in this magic now,

absorbing the life giving force by this colours in my heart with a bow

Tangerine, saffron and touches of illuminated lilac hue,

stratospheric clouds and a warm gentle wind that blew

My soul reaches far in this light of afterglow of haze,

breath for breath of that sumptuous air invigorating in a daze

Soothing scent and a delicate whispers that tickles my ear,

a tantalizing voice from long time ago when moonlight beams touched me so dear

A graceful smile acknowledged by my soul as mine to keep,

the sun has set and twilight invites me to sleep.
